The ShedWorx Test Bench
At ShedWorx we like to be open about what we are doing and how we do it. While this might give our competitors a bit of a boost, we think that it helps our users to see what we use when we test and investigate things.
Testbed One (HD home theatre with the lot):
- Sony Bravia X-series 46" HDTV
- Apple TV
- Sony 250Gb Hard Disk recorder/DVD player
- Sony PlayStation3
- Sony 5.1 channel amplifier and surround sound system
- Intel iMac 20", OSX 10.5, 750Gb HDD
- EyeDV Diversity
- Apple Timecapsule with N-series wireless
The Apple TV, Sony HDD recorder and PS3 plug direct into the TV via HDMI.
The amplifier only has one optical audio in, so we alternate that between whatever device we are testing.
The Apple TV is paired with the iMac which holds the iTunes library (including video) and iPhoto.
