Misinformation purchasing Revolver Nov 7 2009
Unbelievable. I just downloaded, then paid for Revolver, due to this statement below, found in the Watching section in the HD guides menu.
"RevolverHD is the only Mac-based product that lets you publish your edited Full HD video to a format that can be displayed in Full HD on a HDTV. We do this by converting your iMovie QuickTime movie back into AVCHD, which the PlayStation3 can play."
Or . on the main page, under Revolver is the line...
"Take your AVCHD videos and burn them to a high-definition DVD that will play on almost all Blu-ray players."
So, only till I just tried to burn a blu ray file, and hit the burn button, do I get...
"Burning of Quicktime movies to Blu-ray AVCHD disks is experimental. We are still working on this area."
Then Revolver crashed...and crashed three times after...even after I checked to be sure there was plenty of room on the scratch disk, etc.
THEN, I read that Revolver simply won't work doing this...
So, I think I've been ripped off.
