I have a panasonic blue ray recorder with HDD drive model DMR-BS850EB. need to input files to it in AVCHD format after editing video on a Mac. Any ideas how to go about this?
We don't currently have a way to convert from an edited Quicktime HD Movie back into AVCHD. We also are not aware of any simple or cheap way to achieve this.
In light of this situation we are working on some simple native AVCHD editing features (just trimming to start with) for our products. The idea here would be to take your raw AVCHD files, do some trimming, join up a new AVCHD file and then burn a AVCHD DVD. A assume that this disk will be readable by your blu-ray recorder and it should be able to copy from the DVD to the internal hard drive.
