I have the Panasonic HDC-HS700, which is not in the supported list of devices for VoltaicHD. The camera can record footage in 1080/50p format, but I can't find anything that will convert this for the mac - does anyone know if Voltaic can convert this format?
TS700 now supported
We've just put up a new Beta for VoltaicHD for Mac containing support for the new Panasonic 700 series cameras. Please give it a go.
voltaic 2.5 beta on PC
I can't get it to work - and now it seems to have frozen out all other references to my previous Voltaic 2.36:
what is going on guys?
I feel like you're not communicating with us.... I have a SHEDload of WORX to do, but I'm getting no joy from Voltaic:
I've paid for it, licenced it, it doesn't work and now you won't tell us when 2.5 will be due - well you did suggest March, but, ahem, it's now May....
any chance you could just pen us a line to keep your loyal customers in the loop?
many thanks from dreary old England
Voltaic 2.5 on PC
We have been distracted by a high-priority project that we had to divert to, but now we're back on the job with Voltaic on both platforms. We've just completed a lot of format fixes to our cross-platform video library which has allowed us to release a new Mac build.
We are now working on the PC side and will have a new Beta for the PC out soon also.
Another factor which has slowed us down on the PC side is our decision to go to .Net 4.0. This was officially released in early April, so we've had to wait for that.
We plan to release a fairly final PC Beta in two weeks time. We also plan to formally release PC and Mac versions of Voltaic by the end of March.
