I purchased a canon HFS100, and now i need to edit the footage. From what I understand I have to convert the footage to apple intermediate codec, or prores, and I have to use inverse telecene mode to remove the 24p information from the 60i stream that it is encoded in. I tried a number of times to use the demo version of Voltaic to do this, but it does not seem to be working correctly. Can this be donw with this camera?

24p pulldown

The HFS100 should shoot 24p in the same way as the other Canon cameras that we support.

For 24p pulldown to work, you have to be shooting in 24p mode on the camera, not 60i mode.

Could you please send a sample clip (using rapidshare) of your AVCHD 24p footage to voltaicmac@shedworx.com and we will check it out.
