Hi,
I'm not getting automatic 24p pulldown removal. I have to select that mode in order to get it to work (NTSC Canon HF-S100). This can be tricky because I have a lot of files and don't really remember which I shot in PF24, which in PF30 and which in 60i. Canon does not label the MTS file so I can easily determine. I don't know of a file properties method to interrogate the file to know. I have tried MediaInfo and does not show it.
Is there a way for VoltaicHD to read the transport stream of the MTS file to determine what to do automatically? For example if VoltaicHD determines that it is a PF24 file it will then remove the pullldown frames and make a 24p progressive file without the user having to check "24p mode". Additionally if PF30 is detected it deinterlaces to make 30p (with options for the best method). And lastly if 60i is detected the user can choose what to do.
Many thanks for any advice,
Adrian.
